ABSTRACT:
A pharmaceutical composition having buffering properties comprises as its primary ingredients calcium carbonate (CaCO.sub.3) and magnesium oxide (MgO; magnesia) that form the base for the compound. Potassium sorbate (CH.sub.3 CH: CHCH:CHCOOK) is provided as a preservative. Other ingredients include a tabletizing binder, vitamin complexes, minerals as antipathogens, and flavorings.
