ABSTRACT:
A composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratinous fibers, in particular human keratinous fibers such as hair, comprising, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one 2-(.beta.-hydroxyethyl)-para-phenylenediamine oxidation dye precursor and at least one 2-methyl-5-aminophenol coupling agent, and methods of dyeing keratinous fibers with said compositions.
