ABSTRACT:
A composition for multilayer ceramic substrates and dielectric materials with low firing temperatures is disclosed. The composition, based on the total weight of the composition, includes 40-80% of amorphous borosilicate glass which contains 60-80% by weight of SiO.sub.2, 15-30% by weight of B.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.5-1.5% by weight of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and 0.5-3% by weight of alkali oxides; and 20-60% of fillers selected from the groups of alumina, forsterite, quartz, fused SiO.sub.2, mullite, cordierite, BN, and AlN.
