ABSTRACT:
A composition comprising a polyhydroxy alcohol and a water soluble solvent alcohol having a boiling temperature less than 100.degree. C. and a method for dispensing the composition by way of an aerosol spray can is operative for testing smoke detectors of both the ionization and photoelectric type.
