ABSTRACT:
An antigen composition for stimulating an immune response in an inoculated avian species to at least one intestinal pathogenic organism includes naturally-occurring wildSalmonella entericasubspecies in O-serogroups B, C3and D. Subspecies in O-serogroup B can includeSalmonella typhimuriumand/orSalmonellaagona. Subspecies in O-serogroup C3can includeSalmonella Kentucky. Subspecies in O-serogroup D can includeSalmonella enteritidis.
