ABSTRACT:
Fine particles of complex oxide represented by formula: ABO3wherein A is at least two elements selected from among alkaline earth metal elements and rare earth elements and B is at least one metal selected from among Ti, Mn, Nb and Zr, have a BET specific surface area of 20–70 m2/g and a DSC endothermic quantity of up to 20 mcal/g. The shrinkage behavior problem of internal electrode layers during firing is solved when the complex oxide fine particles or a mixture thereof with nickel particles is used as an electrode material for the internal electrode layers.
