ABSTRACT:
Compatibilized blends and composites of
(a) a thermoplastic copolymer of an alkenyl aromatic monomer and an alkenyl nitrile monomer together with
(b) a thermoplastic copolymer of ethylene and a vinyl ester are formed by mixing the copolymers in the presence of an acid compatibilization agent prior to, concurrently with, or subsequent to, mild cross-linking of copolymer (b).
