ABSTRACT:
A nosepiece for setting lockbolt fasteners includes an anvil housing connected to a collet member via a roll pin. The roll pin securely anchors a drawbar within the collet to form an non-threaded connection therebetween. The drawbar is adapted to be connected to and rigidly supported within a piston of an installation tool. The rigidity of the piston and tool is transferred to the nosepiece by the drawbar so as to prevent nosepiece deflection during setting of the lockbolt.
