ABSTRACT:
A communication status confirmation system in which not only a status on call establishment or link establishment but also a communication status of actual communication in an upper layer can be simply collected in a real time is provided.
A communication status confirmation system employing user data on a communication network having a plurality of data communication devices connected to a transmission path employing logical multiplexing method, wherein each of the plurality of the data communication devices comprises first means for reading logical path information of a frame of user data, second means for storing a flag set per said logical path information, and third means for reading a status of the appropriate flag from said second means, and wherein data flowing in each communication path in said communication network is confirmed according to the flag information read from said first means.
