ABSTRACT:
A combustion apparatus2has a fuel spraying nozzle12, a feed canal16and a return canal17, both the canals connected to the nozzle, with the former canal16feeding a fuel to the nozzle and with the latter canal17allowing an unsprayed portion of the fuel to flow back. An electromagnetic pump18disposed in the feed canal16serves to compress the fuel towards the nozzle12, and an injector valve25is disposed in the return canal17. A controller40regulates the operation of the injector valve25in the manner of duty-ratio control so as to adjust the flow rate of the fuel being sprayed out of the nozzle12.
