ABSTRACT:
2. Combined layers in a microwave radiation absorber comprising a layer of ielectric material of relatively high dielectric constant and a layer of magnetic material having a relatively high coefficient of magnetic permeability, said layers being substantially parallel and contiguous to one another and adapted to be positioned at a radiation reflecting surface, said layer of magnetic material being adapted to be contiguous to said reflecting surface, said layers having a thickness approximately a quarter wavelength of microwave radiation as measured within said combined layers.
