ABSTRACT:
A combination tool includes many useful features for a carpenter. A nail-starting head of the tool includes differently sized nail starting, through holes. In operation, a nail is inserted into one of the through holes and frictional engaged thereby. The carpenter starts the nail into a piece of building material, and then pulls on a handle of the tool to free the tool from the nail. The nail is then driven into the building material. The tool also includes a graduated straight edge along the handle and a T-square formed between the handle and the head. The handle is approximately sixteen inches long and the graduation markings assist the carpenter in finding a next adjacent wallboard stud, once a first wallboard stud is located.
