ABSTRACT:
An electronic control unit31for mounting on a vehicle include a control portion32and a power portion33which are separate from each other, and are combined together. A control board40is mounted on a control connector-incorporating casing34,having control connectors35and36formed integrally thereon, thereby forming the control portion32. Connection terminals41on the control board40are soldered to connector connection terminals37and38,embedded in the casing34,and connection terminals42on the control board40are soldered to relay connection terminals39embedded in the casing34. Power parts57and58are mounted on a power connector-incorporating casing54,having power connectors55and56formed integrally thereon, and further a heatsink is mounted on the casing54,thereby forming the power portion33. An intermediate layer51can be provided between the control portion32and the power portion33. Parts can be mounted on the intermediate layer51.
