ABSTRACT:
A piston1contains multiple ring grooves2, 3on the outer circumference of the piston1, and piston rings4, 10are mounted in the ring grooves2, 3. The piston1contains oil path grooves7, 9extending respectively to the outer circumference of the piston1on the upper and lower surfaces of the lowermost ring groove2, and an oil path groove12extending to the outer circumference of the piston1on the lower surface of the ring groove3just above the lowermost ring groove2. The weight of the lowermost piston ring4is equal to or smaller than the weight of the piston ring10just above the lowermost piston ring4; and expanders5, 11are installed on the rear side of the piston rings4, 10respectively.
