ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a combination locking device for controlling existing safety devices on firearms or work independently as a safety on firearms. It is operable to engage and disengage either the existing safety, or act independently to block the firing mechanisms of guns. The invention includes a lock member that will limit access to a firearm's firing mechaniam. The invention is a spring loaded assembly that is totally mechanical. It has an engageable structure that when activated will render a weapon useless. The assembly can be instantly disengaged enabling the authorized user of the firearm to operate the firing mechanism.
