ABSTRACT:
A process for upgrading a heavy hydrocarbonaceous oil is provided in which the oil is hydrorefined, heat-treated and hydrocracked to increase the selectivity of the hydrocracked product to components boiling in the range of 350.degree. to 675.degree. F.
