ABSTRACT:
A colorant composition consisting essentially of one or more colorants finely dispersed in an amorphous poly-.alpha.-olefin which is composed of at least two different monomers having a butene-1 content of at least 25% by weight and melts at between 70.degree. and 150.degree. C., and a free-flow agent provides the way to dust-free colorant compositions for masterbatch production, the production of compounds and the direct coloration of plastomers and elastomers.
