A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one layer of a silver halide photographic emulsion with the light-sensitive material containing at least one hydroquinone compound represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, ##STR2## or a precursor thereof.
