ABSTRACT:
The invention is a collating and stitching machine to arrange into informative and significant order a plurality of part-product or sheets. The machine has at least two rotating sheet delivery drums, the axis of rotation of which extend substantially perpendicularly to the conveying direction of an endless conveyor. The endless conveyor transports the folded sheets during the collating thereof with their folded backs extending transversely to the conveying direction and with the folded backs leading the direction of movement. The conveyor inserts the sheets one into the other. At least one stitching head is arranged in the return area to the endless conveyor to stitch the sheets together and thereby form a booklet, a magazine or the like.
