ABSTRACT:
A collapsible animal container10having a lightweight construction is disclosed. The animal container10is constructed of a flexible housing12suspended by rigid panels14separated by struts16. The housing12includes a top wall, bottom wall, a pair of end walls and a pair of side walls. One or more struts16are provided and are biased between the rigid panels14to maintain the animal container10in an open and usable configuration. When removed, the struts16may be stored in pockets20formed in the side walls to simplify transport. A strap36and/or leash may also be provided to bundle the rigid panels14together when not in use or for transport. A handle18may also be incorporated into the animal container10or strap36, particularly, to further simplify transport.
