ABSTRACT:
In a collapsable elongated article such as a sailboard, the several sections are joined together at respective double chevron surfaces and maintained together by a suitable clamping device. The double chevron surface is used to prevent relative movement in two axes, and the clamping device is used to retain the sections together and thereby prevent relative movement in the third axis.
