ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for cold branding of vulcanized tires wherein an endless conveyor is suspended from a support frame having a plurality of stations located along the closed path of the conveyor. A plurality of branding machines are mounted on the conveyor for movement therewith along the endless path of the conveyor. The conveyor means and branding machines are moved intermittently along the closed path stopping at the stations for a predetermined time interval to provide unloading and loading of tires therefrom with the cold branding being done during the movement of the tires between the stations. Heating is provided to the branding machines for heating the branding heads for branding the sidewalls of a tire carried by the branding machines.
