ABSTRACT:
A coin sorter of the type wherein coins are sorted by the combination of a sorting head and rotated resilient disc in which the inner edge of the coins are radially referenced as they rotate, and coins of a discrete diameter of ejected at discrete circumferential points by a series of ramp-slot combinations in which the radially positioned ramp depresses a discrete diameter of coin into a slot. The slots are configured to direct coins caught in a slot outward.
