ABSTRACT:
Tantalum feedthrough conductor pins are provided with a thin, vacuum deposited metal coating to control oxidation growth during feedthrough fabrication. The coated feedthrough pins are incorporated into a feedthrough which includes a capacitive structure in electrical contact with the coated pin.
