ABSTRACT:
A coated article suitable for use in a vacuum consisting essentially of a refractory metal substrate and a first coating of TiB.sub.2 and Mo. An overcoat of TiB.sub.2 may be applied to the first coating as a second layer upon which additional layers may be applied if desired.
