ABSTRACT:
In a clutch device1,a second flywheel assembly5is axially movable within a predetermined range relative to a crankshaft2,and a flywheel21has a friction surface21aon a side remote from an engine. The damper mechanism6elastically couples the flywheel21to the crankshaft2.The clutch disk assembly9has a friction facing54neighboring the first friction surface21a.The clutch cover assembly8is attached to the flywheel21,and biases the friction facing54toward the first friction surface21a.The release device10applies an axial load directed toward the engine to the clutch cover assembly8,and thereby releases the load toward the friction facing54.The relative rotation suppressing mechanism24couples the second flywheel assembly5to the disk-like member13when the clutch cover assembly8receives the axial load directed toward the engine.
