It is an object of the present invention to shorten the axial dimension of the clutch cover assembly that includes a wear compensation mechanism and a low release load mechanism. A clutch cover assembly1includes a clutch cover2, a pressure plate3, a diaphragm spring4, a first wear compensation mechanism8, and a mechanism30to achieve low release load characteristic. The low release load characteristic achieving mechanism30is made of a support bolt31, a holder32, and a second adjust spring39. The second adjust spring39is located on a side of the holder32near the friction member53in the axial direction.
