ABSTRACT:
Process and apparatus which increase the concentration of NO.sub.x in an off-gas stream of heated air carrying NO.sub.x removed or desorbed from sorbent, feed the off-gas stream into NO.sub.x reduction apparatus, or to nitrogen by-product producing apparatus, and maintain the volume of the off-gas stream substantially constant as the NO.sub.x concentration is being increased.
