ABSTRACT:
A closed circuit system using a diesel engine, or a gas turbine, operating by recycling its exhaust gases, and having a set of fuel tanks, and a set of oxygen tanks for liquid or gaseous storage. The water produced by the combustion is stored in the same fuel tanks, and the CO.sub.2 produced by the combustion is stored, even in gaseous phase, in the same oxygen tanks after the tanks have been emptied of the oxygen used to support the combustion. The storage temperature is slightly above the sea water temperature and at a minimum storage pressure of 40 ata.
