ABSTRACT:
The present invention10discloses a glove11having an elongated elastomeric base member34substantially positioned over the proximal thumb phalanx30having a plurality of pliable blade-like elements28whereby the wearer23of the gloves can extend the thumb30and in a single motion using the pliable blade-like elements28,wipe the transparent visor portions20of eye protection devices24without totally obstructing the vision of the wearer. The elongated elastomeric member34is comprised of a plurality of pliable blade-like elements28exteriorly positioned on the glove11extending through an aperture38to a planar flange element40located between the exterior glove material36and the interior glove liner14providing structure46for fixedly positioning the elongated elastomeric member34to the exterior36and/or interior layer42of the glove by any structure46known within the art, such as, bonding, sewing or riveting.
