ABSTRACT:
Organic gels comprising (a) a nonpolar, liquid, organic solvent and (b) a gelling amount of a mixture of (1) an alkyl oleyl phosphate and (2) an alkali metal aluminate. The gels have many uses, one of which is as a gelled pig for pipeline cleaning.
