ABSTRACT:
The cleaning device for removing the toner image formed by conductive and magnetic toner from the recording medium. The cleaning device includes a rubbing member made of an electrically conductive brush of soft material or a conductive resin blade made of soft material to clean the recording medium. The cleaning device is disposed upstream of the recording position. Damage of the recording material by cleaning is prevented according to the present invention.
