ABSTRACT:
A Class D amplifier comprising a ramp generator that generates a first reference signal and a second reference signal. A signal generator generates first, second, third and fourth pulses by comparing the first and second reference signals to an input signal. The signal generator transitions from a first state to a second state of a first signal after one of the first and second pulses occurs, transitions from a first state to a second state of a second signal after one of the third and fourth pulses occurs, and transitions from the second state to the first state of one of the first and second signals when the other of the first and second signals transitions to the second state.
