ABSTRACT:
A cis-2,5-dialkylpyrrolidine is produced from 2,5-dialkylpyrrole or 2,5-dialkyl-1-pyrroline by an improved hydrogenation process using a ruthenium metal catalyst on an alumina or titania support.
