ABSTRACT:
A circuit arrangement supplies voltage to a load during normal operation and in a standby mode. The arrangement has the following features:input terminals for application of a supply voltage,a first converter unit having a power factor converter and a flyback converter connected downstream from it, with the power factor converter producing an intermediate voltage across a capacitive energy storage element during normal operation, anda converter unit, which is coupled to the input terminals and produces an output voltage across the first output terminals when in the standby mode, and which has second output terminals which are coupled to the capacitive energy storage element in the PFC.
