ABSTRACT:
Apparatus including a circuit arrangement for recognizing colors in which a scanning device scans a colored area and obtains color signal values forming the coordinates of the color locations in a color space and wherein the color selection circuit produces an output signal when the color location assigned to a color scanned lies within a color recognition space and the invention consists of utilizing several differential steps for each color channel so as to form differential voltages from the color signal values and from reference signals and wherein the different signal values are combined and superimposed to obtain a resulting signal with the aid of an adjustable compensation voltage.
