A circuit arrangement for a remote control receiver, especially a ripple control receiver, which receives remote control signals from a power mains, comprising means for reducing the ambiguity of the response characteristic of the remote control receiver caused by at least one non-linear circuit element connected with the input of a selective receiver section of the remote control receiver.
