ABSTRACT:
This chucking apparatus1is an apparatus for holding a disk5which has been placed on a turntable3of a disk player, and includes a magnet13, a chuck disk11, a chuck arm17, first engaging faces13band second engaging faces25c. The chuck disk11is arranged so as to be faced with the turntable3, and adapted to hold the magnet13. The chuck disk11is a disc-like member which has a plurality of claws25formed around the magnet13which has been held and projecting toward the turntable3, and engaging parts25aprovided at distal end portions25aof the plurality of claws25to be engaged with an outer circumference of the magnet13. The chuck arm17holds the chuck disk11rotatably. The first and the second engaging faces13band25crestrict the engaging parts25aof the claws25from deflecting in a direction away from the magnet.
