A chromium-free corrosion inhibitor containing at least one titanium, silicon and/or zirconium compound corresponding to general formula (I):in which Me is a titanium, silicon or zirconium ion, at least one other olefinically unsaturated comonomer containing at least two olefinically unsaturated double bonds per molecule, optionally other comonomers containing one olefinically unsaturated double bond per molecule, and at least one radical and/or cationic polymerization initiator that is activated by radiation.
