ABSTRACT:
A dye-donor or recording element comprising a support having thereon a dye layer comprising a yellow dye in a polymeric binder, the dye having the formula: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 each independently represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, nitro, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or alkoxy group of from 1 to about 6 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, an alkylazo group, or an arylazo group;
