ABSTRACT:
Described is a process for augmenting or enhancing the taste of a chewing gum comprising the step of adding to a chewing gum blend at least one 2-oxabicyclo[2.2.2]octane selected from the group consisting of 3-isopropyl-1,5,8-trimethyl-2-oxabicyclo[2.2.2]octane and 3-ethyl-1,5,8-trimethyl-2-oxabicyclo[2.2.2]octane.
