A reactive oligoimide which is chemically etchable upon crosslinking, and which may serve as an adhesive for bonding at least one layer or film to another layer, preferably a flexible metallic layer to a flexible layer of an etchable polyimide, in order to form a flexible multilayer metal-clad laminate.
