ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to chemical products which are suited for use as co-catalysts and which can be obtained by reacting a compound of formula (I), M1R1R2(R3)mwith a compound of formula (II), (R4X)q-(G)*(M2R5R6)g. In formula (I), R1, R2and R3are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, C1–C20alkyl, C1–C20alkyl halide, C6–C20aryl, C6–C20aryl halide, C7–C40arylalkyl, C7–C40arylalkyl halide, C7–C40alkylaryl or C7–C40alkylaryl halide; M1represents an element of the second or third main group of the periodic table of elements, and; m equals 0 or 1, whereby m is equal to 1 when M1represents an element of the third main group, and m is equal to 0 when M1represents an element of the second main group. In formula (II), substituents R4X, which contain hetero atoms, is located on a base body G, and: groups R4are the same or different and represent hydrogen, C1–C20alkyl, C1–C20alkyl halide, C6–C20aryl, C6–C20aryl halide, C7–C40arylalkyl, C7–C40arylalkyl halide, C7–C40akylaryl or C7–C40alkylaryl halide; X represents an element of the fourth, fifth or sixth main group of the periodic table of elements; G represents at least bivalent C1–C20alkylene, C1–C20alkylene halide, C1–C10alkylenoxy, C6–C40arylene, C6–C40arylene halide, C6–C40arylenoxy, C7–C40arylalkylene, C7–C40arylalkylene halide, C7–C40alkylarylene, C7–C40alkylarylene halide; M2represents an element of the fourth, fifth or sixth main group of the periodic table of elements; R5and R6, independent of one another, are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, C1–C20alkyl, C1–C10alkoxy, C2–C10alkenyl, C7–C20arylalkyl, C7–C20alkylaryl, C6–C10aryloxy, C1–C10alkyl halide; q is a whole number ranging from 2 to 100, and; g is a whole number ranging from 1 to 100. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the inventive chemical products, and to their use in catalyst systems for producing polyolefins.
