ABSTRACT:
A charging circuit has a battery12, switching element14, and resistor16for current detection arranged on the primary side of transformer10. Diode18and capacitor20for storing electric power are arranged on the secondary side of transformer10. In a normal state, the ON/OFF states of switching element14are repeated corresponding to output signals U1, U2of two comparators28, 30. However, if switching element14stays on or off longer than a prescribed period of time for some reason, the status of switching14will be switched forcibly by an auxiliary sequence of the logic parts in control logic42.
