ABSTRACT:
A chain link tool including a pair of jaws on one side of the tool adapted to close the respective eyes of a cross chain connecting link, said jaws moving together as the handles are moved together and conversely, and such that a groove and a projection on the other side of the tool are adapted to receive the transverse portion of the side chain and to grasp the curved end of the cross-chain connecting link respectively when the handles are apart and to disengage the cross-chain connecting link as the handles are moved together.
