A pyridyloxybenzanilide derivative represented by the formula: ##STR1## where X is a bromine atom, Y is a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group, a trifluoromethoxy group, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group, and n is an integer of from 1 to 3.
