ABSTRACT:
1-[4'-(2"-Ethyl-5",7"-dimethylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-3-yl)methylphenyl]cyclo pent-3-ene-1-carboxylic acid and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts inhibit angiotensin II in mammals and are useful in treating conditions such as hypertension, congestive heart failure and glaucoma and as the active ingredient in pharmaceutical compositions for treating such conditions.
