ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to therapeutically active 2,5-tetrahydrofurane derivatives, wherein the substituent in the 2-position is a group ROOC--(CH.sub.2).sub.7, in which R is hydrogen or lower alkyl, the 5-substituent being an alkyl or alkenyl group of 8 to 12 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with an oxygen atom, a hydroxy group or a lower alkyl group at the third carbon atom, counted from the furane ring, and to the production thereof.
