ABSTRACT:
A stuffer box yarn crimping apparatus for crimping a synthetic multifilament yarn14. The apparatus includes a feed nozzle2which comprises a divided nozzle body, consisting of two molded ceramic components1. Preferably, the molded ceramic components1are made in the form of two flat plates, and combined with precision via fitting means5, 26, 8, 29. The molded ceramic components1abut each other via their two plane surfaces4, and form together a nozzle tip50, which extends into a plug channel40and, when put together, borders the entire channel with ceramic.
