ABSTRACT:
A ceramic fiber composition suitable for use in the temperature range of 650.degree. C. to 1100.degree. C. formed from aluminum silicate and feldspar. The aluminum silicate is preferably calcined kaolin and comprises 65 percent to 95 percent by weight of the mixture with the remainder being the feldspar.
